Introducing Extrudio 3D
Extrudio 3D is a Chicago-based digital fabrication studio founded by artist and designer Cody Norman. We specialize in 3D modeling, 3D scanning, 3D printing, robotics, and the use of recycled plastics. Using his experience and contacts in the trades, Cody started Extrudio 3D to leverage his specialized skills and create custom works for clients.

Origins
Cody graduated from SAIC in 2016 and worked as a staff member in the Sharp Instructional Shop for several years before attending Cranbrook Academy of Art to pursue his MFA in 3D Design.

He partnered with Tom Burtonwood to form Happy Returns Studio from 2020 to 2024 where they created a wide range of projects, including co-founding Redemptive Plastics with alt_ chicago.

Cody is a Lecturer in the Designed Objects and Sculpture departments at SAIC and runs a solo studio practice. www.codynorman.studio
